Youth Ministry

At Calvary’s Youth Ministry, teenagers are our PASSION & JOY because teenagers matter to God

Simply put, our youth ministry mission is to KNOW CHRIST and MAKE HIM KNOWN as we

ATTRACT students (Matthew 28:19-20)

BUILD strong relationships (Hebrews 10:24-25)

CONNECT with God in worship (Matthew 22:37)

DEVELOP spiritual leaders (1 Thessalonians 2:8-9)

EXERCISE our faith in ministry and service (James 2:15-17)

Get Plugged In

Youth ministry at Calvary consists of small and large group gatherings as well as trips and retreats.  All 6-12 grade students AND THEIR FRIENDS are welcome to join us for weekly activities.

Check out our schedule below for the latest schedule and events or call the Calvary office at 701-232-5650.

7:15-7:45 pm Encounter Worship Gathering (Grades 6-12)

Sunday Mornings (during school year)

9:00-10:00 am  Jr High Sunday School (Grades 6-9)

Encounter Large Group

Join us in the Upper Room (a.k.a. the youth room at #208) to ENCOUNTER the presence and power of Jesus!  The FIRST upper room was where the Holy Spirit descended on the disciples and ignited the early church.  In CALVARY’S Upper Room we want to ENCOUNTER Jesus just like the first disciples.  May we love the Lord and proclaim Christ to the ends of the earth!

Connect Small Groups

A “Connect” Small Group is simply a group of students meeting weekly to belong, grow, serve, reach out, and connect with Jesus.  Besides Bible study, prayer, and fun, small groups provide relationship, accountability, discipleship, authenticity, responsibility and mission.

Faith 101 Confirmation

Faith 101/Confirmation is a discipleship class (typically for ninth graders) taught by Pastor Dave Motta and Mr. Wayne Eastman. The class meets throughout the school year (Wednesday Nights during Middle school small group time) and focuses on faith basics, Bible study, and church history.  In the spring, there is a Celebration Service where students can be confirmed in the faith, be baptized as a believer, and/or become an official member of Calvary.
