FAQs
Calvary is located at 4575 45th Street South, just south of the Osgood Hornbachers. See map.
Weekly services involve an exciting blend of Christ-centered music. From praise and worship songs to rich hymns of the church, our praise team leads us to honor the presence of God. Every Sunday, a message from the Bible with application to everyday life is shared. The Lord's Supper is offered the first Sunday of each month. Prayer teams minister God’s grace, comfort, and healing after each service for all who are in need.
At Calvary we have a place for every young person! Sunday mornings we have a staffed nursery (0-3 years) and children’s ministry options for ages four through fifth grade. Wednesday evening children’s ministry includes nursery (0-3 years) and an AWANA Bible exploration program (ages four through fifth grade). Our youth ministry offers small groups for 6-12 grades (plus some young adult ministry) on Sundays and Wednesdays, with a ninth grade faith basics (confirmation) program as well.

At Calvary, we do not believe that baptism saves people, whether you are baptized as an infant OR as an adult. Infant baptism can symbolize God's covenant love for children, much like the symbol of circumcision in the Old Testament. We honor the request of families to have their children baptized OR dedicated. We also rejoice when people come to a personal, saving faith in Jesus Christ and want to be baptized as believers. We note the thief on the cross who had no time to be baptized, and that David's child died one day before the ritual of circumcision, but both are in glory! (Luke 23:43; 2 Samuel 12:18-23)
