"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as we see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Christ's church was meant to be like a BLAZING FIRE -- hot, impassioned, and enduring! Without a vibrant connection to a healthy congregation, many "lone ember" Christians soon fade away in their faith. In contrast, believers who have encouragement and accountability in some sort of discipleship group or ministry team will be personally challenged to “burn on” in ever-increasing intensity as they walk with Christ. We firmly believe that EVERY believer needs some sort of small group connection. Here are the current small group offerings:

We go to worship every week to hear a Word from God that will be relevant that week and beyond. Join us for an open format Sunday School discussion — we’ll focus on what the Holy Spirit has been saying and what burning bushes He is revealing to you each week (Psalm 119:105).

Men's Bible Study Fellowship

The mission of Bible Study Fellowship is to offer global, in-depth Bible classes that produce a passionate commitment to Christ, His Word, and His Church. The current study focuses on Genesis. Whether you’re new to the Bible or seasoned in study, this continuous enrollment class is for everyone. Wednesday Discipleship Groups
Faith in Desperate Situations

What does it look like to lean on God’s Word and to trust him in desperate situations? Starting Dec. 2, Nancy Karnley (a new Calvary friend from Liberia) will lead us through passages from Mark 5, Luke 7, and Luke 23. Join us in verse-by-verse discussion as we ask God to grow strong faith that will carry us through the hardest times!

Inspiration From the Persecuted Church

Want to be inspired boldness and connect with other believers? Adults from Submerge and Calvary (men and women) are invited to join a Wednesday evening small group led by Paul Letvin. Using material from Voice of the Martyrs, this video-based study will discuss and discover what it means to truly stand for Christ, to evangelize our “enemies,” and to fully forgive and even love our persecutors. Friday Discipleship Groups
Time: 6:00 - 7:15 AM
Meeting Location: Meeting in the foyer and online via Zoom
Join men of all ages who are following Christ and growing in the scripture. Enjoy donuts, chapter-by-chapter study, prayer, and a caffeine boost. This casual format allows men to learn from other men in an atmosphere of informal mentorship and discipleship. The first Friday of each month we host breakfast and invite speakers from the community. Come once or come weekly, this group is always open! Contact Dave Motta (email@example.com) with questions.
Weekly Prayer Gatherings: Psalm 66:19 says “But truly God has listened; he has attended to the voice of my prayer.” Join us at noon on Tuesdays or 8 AM Saturdays in the Calvary prayer room (Room 105) as we seek the Lord for power in our lives and revival in our nation. Masks are welcome but not required.
