Discipleship Groups

Connect in a discipleship group
and find encouragement

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as we see the Day approaching" (Hebrews 10:24-25).

Christ's church was meant to be like a BLAZING FIRE -- hot, impassioned, and enduring! Without a vibrant connection to a healthy congregation, many "lone ember" Christians soon fade away in their faith. In contrast, believers who have encouragement and accountability in some sort of discipleship group or ministry team will be personally challenged to “burn on” in ever-increasing intensity as they walk with Christ. We firmly believe that EVERY believer needs some sort of small group connection. Here are the current small group offerings:

Sunday Discipleship Groups

How is God speaking to you this week? (The "234" Group)

Date: Meeting the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of each month (234!)
Time: 9:15-10:15 AM
Meeting Location: 101

What has God been showing you in this season?

We go to worship every week to hear a Word from God that will be relevant that week and beyond. But do we take time to process this and walk it out in our lives? Join us for an open format Sunday School discussion — we’ll focus on what the Holy Spirit has been saying and what burning bushes He is revealing to you each week (Psalm 119:105).

The Kingdom of God

Dates: Starting Feb. 7 (on-going; end date TBD)
Time: 9:15-10:15 AM
Meeting Location: 106 (Choir Room)

In this time of political chaos, are you looking for assurance and peace? Praise God, we have a perfect leader in Christ – the government will be upon His shoulders, and His kingdom shall know NO END (Isaiah 9:6).

In this group we will use the parables of the gospels and supporting scripture to unpack truth about the King and His Kingdom – the spiritual rule of Christ, the coming (literal) rule of Jesus, and the eternal sovereign rule of God over all the universe. His Kingdom is now . . . but not yet. His Kingdom will come on earth . . . as it is in Heaven. His Kingdom is HERE – in the hearts of all those who willingly submit to His authority. “And He shall reign forever and ever – Hallelujah!”

100 Bible Verses That Made America

Dates: Jan. 6-May 5
Time: 6:30 - 7:45 PM
Meeting Location: Room 103

The Bible has played a starring role in American history from our nation's beginnings. When George Washington was sworn into office as our first president, he did not place his hand on the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution, he swore upon and even kissed the Bible to sanctify this important moment. Trying to explain American history without the Bible is like trying to understand the human body without its bloodstream. Do you want a fresh wind of fire from the Spirit? Your heart will be reignited for the intersection of faith and country as we explore the undeniable history of how God's Living Word shaped our founders and this nation. For more info, contact Paul (paul.letvin@gmail.com).
