October Highlights

A Word from Pastor Henry (emailed 10/20/22)

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Church Conference business meeting this month. With a unanimous vote (43-0), we have decided to join the Global Methodist Church. The most important aspect of this decision is that we are of one mind in taking this step forward in faith. As long as we remain humble, obedient, and faithful to Christ, we will see His kingdom made alive through us!

MYC Youth Rally

This month, our students traveled with Fergus Falls youth to the Minnesota Youth Convention (MYC) in Rochester, MN. This was a fantastic time of worship, teaching, and fun . . . with 3700 other teens! Here are a few photos of that trip and the youth breakfast the McCartneys prepared the following Sunday. YUM.

Leadership Team Training (Oct. 25)

Borrowing from best selling studies by Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, Lisa Harper, Kelly Minter and Jennifer Rothschild, this 5-session study explores crucial moments in the lives of Esther, Gideon, Malachi, Nehemiah, and Hosea. Through these stories, discover how God uses the lives of ordinary people for His glory and the good of His people.

I've worked in marketing and design for 18+ years, and even met my wife (also a graphic designer) while working at an ad agency. She is my balance. We now have two young children and are finally learning the value of sleep.
