Women's Ministry Move Night // Oct. 17 (supper served at 5:00pm)
The Forge: A year out of high school with no plans for his future, a boy is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the prayers of his mother and biblical discipleship from his new mentor, he begins discovering God's purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine.

This event is FREE - please register if you plan on eating supper with us, and invite a friend!

Join us for a hands-on Freezer Meal Workshop where you'll prepare 16 ready-to-go freezer meals — including 5 beef, 6 chicken, and 5 pork dishes. 

What to Bring:

• One 9x13 pan (or two 8x8 pans) – disposable, glass, or tin

• One pie pan – disposable, glass, or tin

• Apron (optional)

• Sharpie marker

• Cooler to take your meals home

Sew Powerful is a Christian ministry that exists to employ and empower people to pursue life in all its fullness. We do that by creating purposeful products that change communities-things like school uniforms, reusable hygiene pads, soap, and farm fresh food. Sew Powerful Website 

We are having an informal lunch to see who is interested in sewing purses for feminine hygiene products in South Africa. This is sponsored by the Upper Midwest Conference!

Sunday School // September 14  - February 1

God is a communicator, and The Israel Story is the story that He is telling. Many people throughout history, who were able to experience and hear God’s story, told it and wrote it down. Others guarded over it, literally letter by letter, so that it could be preserved for generations to come, for you and me. This story is found in the Bible. Central characters in the Bible story are the nation of Israel and the Jewish people, not just in the Old Testament, but in the New Testament too, not just in the past, but in the present and the future, as well. In order to understand The Story — God’s story as well as our story — it is essential that we understand the Israel story. That’s the objective. That’s what this study, our journey together, is all about.

Women's Sunday School // Sept. 7-Oct. 12

Like all worldviews, Christianity influences our ideas, beliefs, convictions, and habits. Taking seriously the Christian worldview means first understanding how God has acted in history and what it means to follow Jesus. Simply put, we must embrace the truth as shown in the Bible.

Just as important as knowing the truth is living out this worldview. The Christian worldview calls for action in all areas of life. Loving God and loving others guide how we interact with our family and friends, our coworkers, and those who disagree with us. Grounded in truth and lived out in God’s grace, your faith has the potential to transform your own life and ultimately help transform a broken world.

Kickoff Sunday // September 7th!
Start the morning with Sunday school for all ages in the foyer at 9:00am, followed by coffee and treats. After the 10:30am worship service, stick around for a cookout, games, more treats, and plenty of fun fellowship!

Starting Wednesday, September 3rd @ 6:30pm!
In this twelve-session video Bible study, we will look at twelve daring women in the Bible and what they mean for you today. Sessions include the Shulamite woman Deborah, the Proverbs 31 woman, Ruth, Puah & Shiphrah, Esther, Priscilla, Mary & Martha, the bent woman, the woman with the issue of blood, Elizabeth, and Anna.

As you look at each of these women’s lives, you will discover how to:

• Apply biblical lessons to your own modern-day struggles.

• Live through your failures as well as your successes.

• Draw near to God in a world filled with trials.

• Find lasting contentment in every situation.

• Overcome rejection and insecurity . . . and much more.
